Ive been saving the wipes containers from my stock up on Huggies wipes when they were $1.00 at No Frills awhile back, and now that I was on my last tub, I decided to try making my own!Items you'll need:
*Good quality paper towels (1 roll of Bounty made me 6 tubs with 60 wipes each!)
*1 tablespoon baby oil
*2 tablespoons baby soap
*10 cups warm water
*wipes containers
*scissors or knife
How I did it:
1--Start by cutting the paper towel roll in half, I used a large heavy duty pair of scissors, but you could probably use a knife also.
2--Fold your halved paper towels into the tubs so they will pull out easily when you use them.
3--Mix the warm water, soap and baby oil together and pour over paper towels in each tub until soaked. Let them sit for about 20 minutes, then flip and pour again.
4--After about an hour I drained most of the excess liquid out of each tub, and they were good to go!
This is a great way to cut costs since the average price even a couponer would end up paying for wipes would be $1.00! I got 2 rolls of Bounty for $1.50 (after coupon of course!), and had the baby soap and oil at home already. So with 1 roll making me 6 tubs it works out to about $0.12 a tub! And they smell AMAZING:)
HAPPY SAVING:)
