In order to clarify the constant confusion that arises surrounding bonus offers and whether it is based on your total hitting the threshold (ie 20x the points when you spend $50 or more) before or after coupons, I would like to highlight this portion of the policy:
o For promotional events (e.g. for Shoppers Optimum Promotions where a
customer would need to spend $50 to receive a reward), the following instances
apply:
If a vendor coupon is used, its value will count towards the promotion total
meaning the value of the coupons will be included in the event purchase
threshold
If a store coupon was used, its value will be deducted and does not count
toward the promotion total meaning the value of the coupons will not be
included in the event purchase threshold
I for one am absolutely thrilled about this official posting (can be found on the main SDM site!) and cannot wait to start racking up some points without confusion!
