I didn't use a ton of coupons on this trip, but still snagged some fabulous deals on fresh produce that we needed! Spent under $67 on all this, and with some HUGE future savings...Fruit cost approximately $7.00 and will provide us with 3 months supply of baby food.
*Regular cost of baby food = $0.69/jar
*Our daughter eats about 2 jars worth of
fruit/day
*$0.69 x 2=$1.38 x 90 days=$124.20
*Subtract the $7.00 spent for the
fruit=$117.20 savings!
Tomatoes cost approximately $4.50 and will provide us with 10-12 jars of pasta sauce.
*Regular cost of pasta sauce = $1.99/jar x 10=$19.90
*Subtract the $4.50 spent on tomatoes = $15.40 savings!
