I'm fully aware of how weird this will seem, which is why I braved my scepticism and tried it last night!
My hubby and I recently painted our basement, and with the cold weather we couldn't exactly leave every door and window open, so the smell of the paint was REALLY bad! I didn't want to just cover it up with Febreeze or something like that, so I did a little research and here's what we did...
Cut an onion in 4 quarters and left a quarter in each corner of the room overnight! Believe it or not...fresh basement! No onion smell like I thought there would be! And I didn't even need air freshner!
